Afinia L501 and L502 Ink Cartridges
Afinia L501 and L502 colour label printers are dual-purpose label printers that work with both dye and pigment-based inks. Both models use the same Afinia ink cartridges and printheads. ArgonStore.ca carries both types of Afinia L501 / L502 ink cartridges along with their corresponding print heads. We are an authorized Afinia Label reseller. Each of the Afinia L501 and L502 ink cartridges we sell is the standard replacement ink cartridge for your Afinia L501 or L502 label printer.
Afinia L501 / L502 Dye Ink Cartridges
When using the Afinia L501 or L502 to print “prime” labels, you’ll want to configure it with dye-based inks. If you do not currently have a set of Afinia dye ink cartridges and the corresponding Afinia dye print head for your L501 or L502 printer, order the Afinia L501 / L502 dye print head as it comes with the print head and a full set of Afinia L501 / L502 dye ink cartridges (cyan, magenta, yellow, and black).
Afinia L501 / L502 dye ink cartridges are great for using with the following L501 / L502 labels: matte paper, high gloss paper, matte polypropylene, glossy polypropylene, clear labels, polyester (clear, white, gold and silver), matte and high gloss tags.
If you are running low on dye ink and already have the Afinia L501 / L502 dye print head, you can order the L501 / L502 dye ink cartridges as needed. We recommend having a few extra cartridges on hand to minimize service disruptions.
Afinia L501 / L502 Pigment Ink Cartridges
When using the Afinia L501 or L502 to print industrial and GHS labels, you’ll need to use it with pigment-based inks. If you do not currently have a set of Afinia L501 / L502 pigment ink cartridges and the Afinia L501 /L502 pigment print head, order the Afinia L501 / L502 pigment print head, which comes with a full set of Afinia L501 / L501 pigment ink cartridges in cyan, magenta, yellow, and black.
You can also order the Afinia L501 / L502 pigment ink cartridges as needed if you already have the L501 / L502 pigment print head. In either case, it’s smart to order extra cartridges so you have backups ready to go when the printer runs out of ink.
Afinia L501 / L502 pigment inks are great for producing GHS BS5609-compliant labels. We recommend that you use the L501 / L502 pigment inks with the following L501 / L502 labels: matte paper, matte polypropylene, chemical labels (for GHS BS5609). Not recommended with glossy synthetic labels like polypropylene or polyesters.
